Guide | How to Flash a Firmware on Android Motorola Moto X Play.

And run on Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop), v6.0, planned upgrade to v7.0 (Nougat).

# 1. Prerequisite.

1. The data, account, file and installed applications in internal memory will wiped during flashing your Motorola Moto X Play device. So, always back up it first.
2. Your battery must at 80% of battery capacity to avoid process failed.
3. To keep a good connections between your Motorola Moto X Play device to the computer try to use a original USB cable.
4. Make sure driver for Motorola Moto X Play installed correctly, if you dont have the driver yet please download via this link below.

5. Download and install RSD Lite Multi flash to the computer or laptop.

#2. Flashing Motorola Moto X Play.

1. Now, boot Motorola Moto X Play device to Fastboot mode. How to do it ?
• Power off the Motorola Moto X Play, by press and hold power button for a seconds, it will completely turn off the device.
• Now, press and hold both volume down + volume up button.
2. Now, connect your Motorola Moto X Play to the computer via USB cable.
3. Make sure your Motorola Moto X Play successfully detected on your computer via Fastboot mode.
4. If failed, try to use original USB cable or change your computer port.
5. Then, Open your RSD Lite software on your computer from start menu.

6. Now you can click the button assigned with red circle show at picture above to load Motorola Moto X Play firmware.
7. Firmware file should have this extensions (*.xml, *.shx, *.sbf, *.hs, etc)
8. Once your Motorola Moto X Play firmware successfully load, RSD lite flash tool should look like picture shown below.

9. Now click start button at RSD lite window to begin the flashing process.
10. Flashing your Motorola Moto X Play will start automatically without your interference.
11. Just wait a while until flashing your Motorola Moto X Play done.
