Googles new video calling app Duo started rolling out early last week, and within a couple of days it became the top free Android app in the US. Now, the app has reached another milestone - it has crossed the 5 million downloads mark on Google Play.

Its worth mentioning that the Play Store listing for the app still shows the total number of downloads in the range of 1M and 5M, but given that the milestone was announced by none other than Googles CEO Sundar Pichai, itd be reasonable to assume that the listing isnt reflecting the updated numbers.
