Microsoft posted a picture of a Surface device on the official Surface Instagram account. Except, its not any of the existing Surface devices.
The image is low on details and doesnt show a lot of the device other than the hinge. It is believed that this is the upcoming Surface Book 2, that will feature an updated hinge design that will allow the display to lie flat on the keyboard unlike the existing Surface Book hinge that leaves a gap near the bottom of the display.
According to Windows Central, the image is from a Microsoft sizzler reel meant to demonstrate some ideas for the Surface Book 2 and meant for employees.
The Surface Book 2 was expected to announce early next year but now could be coming before the end of this year.
