Latest Concept build for Sony Xperia X brings February security patch

Sony has started rolling out a new update to the Xperia X units that are part of the Japanese companys Concept for Android program. The update arrives as version 38.3.A.0.107 and brings along Android security fixes for the month of February.

The update brings along changes related to the modem software as well as some stability improvements. It is currently available on the Experimental track of the Concept firmware - it should be live on the Stable track sometime next week.

This new update comes shortly after version 38.3.A.0.94 started rolling late last week. That update brought along several changes, including ambient display.

5. Save it to your desktop computer. 

Second Step to Flash Custom ROM on HTC One Max.

1. Make sure your device model is HTC One Max
2. Download and install USB Driver that fit for your HTC One Max Here.

3. Then, Plug your HTC One Max in to your PC use USB Cable
4. Copy the Custom ROM .zip file from your desktop over to the root of your SD card. It’s the topmost folder you have on your SD card
5. After you copied, disconnect your HTC One Max from your PC.
6. Download and isntall Quick Boot from google play store.

7. Launch that App after you install.
8. Tap on Recovery option in the app and it’ll reboot your device into recovery mode.
9. In the recovery mode, the Volume buttons are used for navigation and t he Power button to make a selection.
10. Select backup and restore.

12. Hit Yes when prompted and wait for it to backup your device.
13. Then, Once done, head back to main menu by selecting Back.
14. Select Wipe data/factory reset.
15. Tap Yes when prompted and wait for it to do its thing.
16. Once done, go back to main menu by selecting Back.
17. Then, Select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.
18. Navigate to the root of your SD card and choose the custom ROM .zip file you copied earlier to be flashed on your device.
19. Select Yes when prompted if you really want to flash the selected file.
20. It’ll start flashing the selected ROM on your device.
21. Once the ROM has been flashed, reboot your device by selecting reboot system now.
22. You’re all set!

Apple patents The Grove because trees need to be patented now

Apple has been granted a patent for a new store design called "The Grove". The patent has been issued by the Hong Kong Patent and Trademark Office.

One of a series of concepts for future Apple Stores shown to the press a couple of months ago, "The Grove" consists of actual living trees in containers, to be put inside the stores. It takes a group of trees to make a grove and, apparently, a group of trees with a table inbetween must be patented these days, just in case.

Bluetooth support is finally making its way to the Google Home

Do you own a Google Home smart speaker? If so, did you know it actually has a Bluetooth chip inside? Yes, really. Except it wasnt activated up until this point, for reasons that are very unclear.

Anyway, heres the good news: Bluetooth support is finally rolling out to a Google Home near you. This was announced at Google I/O last month along with a slew of other Home-related updates.

Its a silent rollout, this, but theres an easy enough way to check if your particular speaker has been blessed to receive it already. Just go into the Google Home app, and in the Device settings area check for a new section called "Paired Bluetooth devices". If its there, it means you should be able to go into the Bluetooth menu of your phones Settings and connect to the Google Home using this technology. Once you do, it behaves just like any other Bluetooth speaker - all media audio will be routed through it.< /p>
